Day 1: Ha Noi - Ba Be Lake

Day 1: Ha Noi - Ba Be Lake (L, D)

In the morning, transfer to Ba Be National Park. Ba Be Lake is a famous Nature World Heritage Site which also called “Ha Long Bay on mountain”. We will have a stop for refreshment in Thai Nguyen. Quick visit to Thai Nguyen Museum of ethnology to learn about different ethnic minorities in northern Vietnam. Continue to Bac Can for lunch. After lunch, we continue to Ba Be. Upon arrival in NP, we take a short boat ride to Bo Lu Village. Tonight we will have dinner and overnight in local house. .

Day 2: Move-upland (B, L, D)

Heaven trekking day! Tour guide will take you to visit Coc Toc village where Tay people leave by fishing. Water crossing in Pelu stream, a special experience for trekking. Today you will have to cross on rough ruts. However, you will be annoyed by insects. Move to the top you must see the things as bewitch as paradise. Going on to upland and stop in Nam Dai village (Cash Dao people) we have lunch picnic. In the afternoon the guide will take you to visit the mountains, valley and the stilt houses, school of the Cash Dao children. Then, you will have dinner in local homestay and spend the night at Na Nghe Village.

Day 3: Ba Be Lake kayaking (B, L, D)

Breakfast with the local people of Na Nghe village, you and your guide must say "goodbye" to the Cash Dao people.
8:30 am. Go through trail with your guide to visit Nam Dai village then go down the forest Continue to Dau Dang Waterfall where we will have a picnic lunch in a beautiful natural setting of the waterfall. After lunch we paddle back to Ba Be Lake. If weather permits we can swim in the emeraude cool water of the lake. Paddle back to Bo Lu village for another night at the home-stay.

Day 4: Ba Be, Ha Noi (B, L)

After breakfast we take a short boat ride to the NP Dock where we get on van for the ride back to Hanoi. Lunch on the way. Back to Hanoi around 5pm. Trip completes.

- a 10-15 km trek on Day 2.
- a 8- 10 km trek and 2 hours kayak on Day 3.

From October to June brings cooler and more pleasant weather.
